The device

The Lenovo Vibe B A2016 is a compact looker that is lightweight.

Volume rockers and power buttons are on the right side of the phone,

Headphone jack and USB and charging port is under the phone.

Microphone is at the top

And the 2MP front face camera is beside the speaker grill

Behind the Lenovo Vibe B, the 5MP camera and LED flash is at the top while another set of speaker grills are beneath.

At first touch the Lenovo Vibe B was unnaturally light until you discover the battery is packed separately from the device itself.

The 2,000 mAh battery is packed in a nylon wrapper from the phone and can be replaced.

The Lenovo Vibe B sells for ₦40,500 — ₦45,000 on ecommerce stores, depending on the vendor. Physical stores sell for as low as ₦40,000 or less.

 First Impressions

The Lenovo Vibe B is an economy phone that is not too cheap considering its features and limited functionality.
Smartphones have become expensive on a daily basis because of the forex crisis in Nigeria, so at ₦40,000, the Lenovo Vibe B still looks to serve a good value for money.

I particularly like that it has bulk and still manages to be lightweight.

The camera doesn’t work for me though, but at that price I didn’t expect anything different. But the front and back camera adjusted well under good lighting conditions.

Battery is another strong point for the Lenovo Vibe B, its 2,000 mAh battery lasted a day of moderate use with internet, surpassing expectations.

In all, the Lenovo Vibe B is a mid range device that will satisfy you if you are not looking to HEAVILY use this phone.
